REPAIR PROCEDURES FOR 

WOODY’S TRAIN SHOP 

 To be sure we can handle a requested repair at a reasonable cost.  

I would need the following information:

1) The product number-  Engines: number would be on the cab, Transformers: number would be on the plate (usually located on top or back), Accessories: just need to know what it is - number if available and a good guess on approximate year built, switches: number would be on a plate 

2) What is in need of repair? 

3) Also, evaluate the physical condition of the unit.  Is it worth fixing or saving?  If it looks terrible when you send it, it will look terrible when I return it.  I can not necessarily do major cosmetic repairs. It will just work a lot better.  

 If the above information is accurately supplied to me, I can give a good estimate on the cost.  But, my estimates are only that - ESTIMATES. 

**If I discover more significant problems (such as gears, wheels, or armatures, e-units replacements, etc.) then in the original estimate, I  will contact you before continuing.**
